    Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    Reporting to the Director of Sales, the successful candidate will support the continued growth of Custom Profile.  The candidate will have direct responsibility for managing and servicing assigned customer accounts.  The candidate will pursue additional sales opportunities within this customer base and coordinate internal sales functions for these accounts.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new applications.
    • Closes sales by building rapport with existing and potential new accounts; explaining product and service capabilities and overcoming objections.
    • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentation and understanding account requirements.
    • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts.
    • Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
    • Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled.
    • Provide Sales and administrative support to the Director of Sales for processing new business opportunities and sales planning for the company.
    • Work with Program Managers and Tooling Engineers to obtain necessary information such as extrusion rates, finishing rates, raw material, part design modifications, packaging, etc.
    • Interface with customers to obtain information to adequately quote programs.
    • Follow up on open issues related to quote requests.
    • Review customer prints as part of the quoting process and direct print revisions as necessary with design engineers.
    • Submit engineering change orders as directed by Customers.
    • Release new product to Engineering through internal New Product Launch.
    • Create customer quotes using Custom Profile’s in-house excel based quoting system
    • Provide information to the Accounting department to set up new customers in the Custom Profile system.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience required; a suitable combination of education and experience will also be considered.
    • Bachelor Degree in Business/Engineering preferred, but not required.

    Strength in the following areas required:

    • Medical Sales Experience
    • Microsoft Office experience (word, outlook, excel)
    • Strong Print Reading Skills
    • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
    • Willingness to learn and take on progressively more responsibility
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and Internal Training.
    • Ability to prospect new business opportunities; be persistent and meet sales goals required.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

    Experience in the following areas is preferred:

    • ERP/MRP Experience
    • Bilingual

     

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
    • The noise level in our work environment is moderate.
    • Safety glasses and closed-toe shoes must be worn on the production floor.
    • Some travel, mostly local, is occasionally required.
    • Travel is required up to 50% of the time.
